Launching of Alexandre-Koyré Chair and nomination of Gregory Lewkowicz

The technological upheaval in which the world is committed leads to the opening of a new chair of multidisciplinary excellence in the field of artificial intelligence law research at the Faculty of Nice.

Led by Professor Marina Teller, the Alexandre-Koyré Chair – named after a mathematician, philosopher and theoretician of the « technological revolution » – had his inaugural session in front of an amphitheater full of students, professors and personalities.

Visiting professor and holder of Koyré Chair this year, Gregory Lewkowicz, who teaches at the Free University of Brussels, HEC Paris and the Goethe Universität Frankfurt, is a specialist in algorithms, big data and artificial intelligence.

If the law is always lagging behind the technologies, the new generations must master them to ensure that the digital and the AI ​​remain at the service of the man and do not take precedence over him.
