Student Irene Vallones interviews Professor Maria Rosaria Ferrarese, during the Transnational Sovereignties Conference at The Dickson Poon School of Law. This two-day conference, open to staff and students at King’s College London, as well as to the public, brought together scholars in law, political theory and anthropology, whose work has long been analysing both the foundations, emerging trends, challenges and contestations which surround the concept of sovereignty.
